The stay at the sonnet was very comfortable as the staffs were very cordial.The rooms are maintained very hygienic and clean. The first impression while occupying the room was excellent. Some of the toiletries were given promptly from room service. Mr. Rajesh Pandey manager housekeeping was very resourceful, prompt and courteous.

We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning and loved the convenient location close to major attractions.The hotel staff were nice and friendly. The Complementary lunch was also great! Quantity was too much, we couldn't finish what was served. Rooms were clean and well maintained. They have many restaurants. The rooftop cafe has very nice ambiance.

It's always a pleasure to stay in a hotel where the staff cares for their guests. Although we visit Kolkata frequently, this is the first time we are staying in this hotel. We love the location, the decor, the amenities, the breakfast buffet, and finally the housekeeping staff. Room service is performed everyday. The housekeeping staff manager Rajesh is not only professional and friendly, he accompanies the cleaning staff from time to time to ensure the rooms is serviced properly and to the liking of the guest. This level of hospitality makes it comfortable for us to call it home while visiting our family and friends. The front desk staff are also very efficient and responsive. I would strongly recommend this place to anybody looking for value and comfort.

However pool is very small.
New town shopping centre is at walking distance

We had a fabulous time at The Sonnet. We had booked the venue for a wedding. The stars was really courteous. Sayan, Deepak, Jayanta, Aranya and Tubai were all very helpful and made our overall experience really great. The food was really tasty. Everything was ready on time and the service was really the best.

The location is also very good. There are ATMs, restaurants, and shops at walking distance.
Service is superb. My partner got a bit sick and we had to extend our stay for a night and not only that was easily done, but the staff was super helpful and attentive. I was able to get water and fruits for him super quickly.
Kudos to Silpa and all the reception staff that I didn't have a chance to get the name and especially Mangal, which was super helpful since day one, not only to us but all the wedding party.
Definitely will be our hotel of choice when we're back in Kolkata.
